The first professional Reiki clinic in Singapore for Reiki practitioners -

This is a wonderful opportunity and platform to give Reiki in a safe, professional and reliable setting with fellow practitioners of myriad backgrounds to gain experience and contribute back to the community!

When I first started on my Reiki journey, I wanted to give back to the community but found such opportunities lacking in Singapore due to various reasons. Many practitioners have also shared many reasons that they are not able to continuously and consistently practice on others - some include: family and friends not receptive or not staying with them, lack of situations to practice due to relatively stable lifestyle and environment. As such, after volunteering in a vibrant healing scene in America, I thought, why not bring this back to Singapore? This volunteering initiative will definitely find its place amongst practitioners who wish to give, support, grow, heal and make a small difference in our environment. It will also find its place amongst people who wish to explore and receive Reiki in this setting for their personal reasons.

But of course, we can definitely extend our hands to others regardless of whether being compelled by situations or not. There is no better teacher than Experience alone and we all have to go out and offer our healing hands someday. :)

Launched in 2019, the roots of this initiative draw from the trainings and volunteering work that I have humbly been involved in in the States. This organised public Reiki clinic will provide a perfect and neutral platform for both practitioners and clients alike to become aware of and experience giving and receiving Reiki. This is a community initiative and is jointly organised and hosted with all volunteering practitioners, including you.

As this is a professional setting for the public to receive Reiki, many their first time, there are basic guidelines to follow, so the clients may expect a treatment that is consistent across all beds no matter which practitioner they receive Reiki from. Clients may also bring their whole family to experience it together!  Respecting the guidelines for COVID-19, each time slot can accommodate a maximum of 10 people in the same hall (including practitioners) and so 6 clients over the two time slots (3 per time slot), perfect for a family healing experience. Similarly for practitioners, should you have family members who are Reiki practitioners, we welcome your whole family to volunteer together! :)

We welcome any practitioner from the Usui Reiki lineage to join us. Everyone, regardless of lineage or background, has an equal opportunity to volunteer to offer their healing hands and/or to receive Reiki. You do not need to have attended our regular Reiki circles/shares to be able to volunteer. Practitioners from the Reiki Centre lineage and Raven Keyes Medical Reiki (RKMRI) are also warmly welcome to offer your healing hands! For Reiki lineages other than Usui but would like to volunteer, please kindly drop me an email.

-------

Reiki is a gentle, balancing spiritual healing practice offered through light touch to a fully clothed recipient.

Requirements:

  • You are required to have trained in at least Reiki 1/First Degree, preferably from the Usui lineage - all treatments delivered to clients are of contact Reiki. No symbols are allowed, for standardisation.

  • Should be you have trained in a different lineage of Reiki (e.g. Kundalini, Angelic etc.) and would like to join, please contact Shin to discuss. As long as you are willing to be of service with a sincere and pure heart, you are welcome!

**Please note that as practitioners, we do not diagnose - for licensed diagnoses, please direct clients to consult their medical doctor. All practitioners are encouraged to refrain from providing advice of any sort in the public clinic, unless in your private Reiki appointment/session with the client where the discretion is yours.

Fees:

This clinic's operation is fully supported by practitioners' and clients' donations.

To solely cover the rental of the large healing hall, a nominal donation of S$20 from both practitioners (including myself) and clients is contributed, which covers the base operating cost at most. You are welcome to contribute more should you wish to - any excess donations collected from clients/practitioners are re-distributed equally to all volunteering practitioners of that session. This is a wholly non-profit initiative and no funds are withheld for any reasons.
